Aomori is most notably known for their apples, which dominates over 50% of Japan’s apple market. When moving to Aomori prefecture, you can savour all sorts of apple products here. Aomori is also popular for its abundance of nature, and you’ll have many sightseeing spots to visit when taking a break from work. This includes Oirase Gorge Stream, Hirosaki Park as well as Shirakami-Sanchi, a mountainous UNESCO World Heritage Site.
August is the month with the highest average low temperature of 19 degrees Celsius or 66.2 degrees Fahrenheit in Aomori prefecture. In contrast, January and February are much colder months with an average low temp of -6 degrees Celsius or 21.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
If you want to live in Aomori prefecture, then you'll be pleased to know that the rent is cheaper compared to other major cities.
